Stephen J. Bryant
Stephen J. Bryant is a cinematographer, photographer, editor, and screen writer. He grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. His passion for film started at a young age when he began filming and editing skateboarding videos of his friends simply by using a camcorder and two VCRs. During high school, he took a film class which inspired him to pursue cinema as a career. Stephen attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he studied cinema and photography. While there, he worked on Emmy award winning television series Alt News 26:46 and created several award winning short films. Post SIUC, Stephen has worked with everyone from Chicago's largest businesses to global non-profits to develop their visual identity. Being an avid fan of live performance, Stephen has become known as one of the premiere photographers within the Chicago theatre community. His passion for visual media continues to propel his art into exciting new territory.
